Our History
Surya Satyavolu is an entrepreneur, polymath and a technology and business leader with experience in startups as well as large companies. His experience spans several years of safety and security critical systems, sensors and wireless and wireline communications. He has 3 issued patents and several pending. He is a chair of Automated Electric Road Transport Working Group at TSDSI and member of several industry bodies including SAE, ITS India, ITS, TRB and IEEE and plays a key role in defining the next generation standards for road transportation. He holds an MSEE from Clemson University and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras.

Founded in 2015, Sirab Technologies has been developing innovative technologies and business models to address problems with road transportation like road accidents, traffic congestion and making best use of roads to provide highspeed transport comparable to highspeed rail at more affordable costs. We are developing the best-in-class automation of roads to deliver on the promises of automation in terms of benefits to all stakeholders. We are incubated through IIT Madras Incubation Cell and have presence in both USA and INDIA.
